Book Week Parade

What a fantastic Book Week Parade we had at the Primary school! The creativity on display was incredible with some amazing costumes, including lots of little Elsa’s from "Frozen." Luna, our school support dog, particularly loved being the princess in the yellow tutu! It was also wonderful to see so many Secondary students join in on the fun, and we're still looking for Mr McMillan, who made a fantastic "Where's Wally".

Secondary Campus Artwork

The new artwork from Edugrafix has been installed at the Secondary campus, adding a real lift to the environment. The vibrant designs have brought new energy to the campus, and the feedback from students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive.

Energy Drinks Reminder

This is a quick reminder that energy drinks should not be consumed at school and are not recommended for children under 15. We appreciate your support in ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all our students.

Zone Athletics Success

Congratulations to all our Primary students who represented us at Zone Athletics on Friday 16 August 2024. We are very proud of your achievements and sportsmanship. Special mention to Annabel Kanno for securing 2nd place in the Junior 1500m and to Akira Kanno for taking 1st place in the 13 year old 100m. Well done!

Touch Football Gala Day

A big thank you to Mrs. Lowe for organising the non-competitive Touch Football Gala Day. It was a great event with participation from our Primary students and St. Joseph's students. The afternoon was filled with fun, teamwork, and lots of energy.

State Championships

Congratulations to Holli Thompson, who competed at the PSSA State Netball Championships in Sydney, and to Xavier Darlington, who competed at the PSSA State Rugby Union Championships this week. Your dedication and hard work have made us all proud.

Marine and Aquaculture Technology Field Trip

Our Marine and Aquaculture Technology class recently enjoyed an overnight field trip to Ebor. Highlights included breathtaking bush walks at Ebor Falls, Wollomombi Falls, and the Yarandoo Environmental Lodge at Ebor. The students had a fantastic time exploring the natural beauty of the area and learning outside the classroom.

Thank you to everyone for your continued hard work and commitment to making our school a great place to learn and grow. Let’s keep the momentum going as we move further into Term 3!

Warm regards, Patrick Sullivan Principal

The Marine and Aquaculture Technology class recently enjoyed an overnight field trip to Ebor. Highlights included the bush walks at Ebor Falls, Wollomombi Falls and the Yarandoo Environmental Lodge at Ebor.

Students visited the Ebor Trout Hatchery for a tour and came home with 200 Rainbow Trout fingerlings that have been successfully integrated into the school Aquaponics Project. Our students were complimented for their manners and engagement.

Other highlights were the communal camp fire and meal at the lodge and the gourmet pies from Uralla on the way home!

Thank you, to Tammy Russell for coming at such short notice and well done to Dustin Hiscock, Jackson Erenshaw, Matilda Alderton, Kirra Harris, Kaylee Brekvoort and Ella Lobley for your active participation which made for a pleasant trip.
