27th August 2024

EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING AT THE CLAYPAN FOR FROST OVER BARRABA FESTIVITIES

With Spring just around the corner, the weather should be perfect to enjoy all that is on offer for the Frost Over Barraba Arts Festival. The Fuller Gallery and Claypan will be open for business for the duration of Frost Over Barraba; Thursday 5th September to Sunday 8th September.  The Gallery will be open from 9am to 3pm, daily.

Home-made morning teas and lunches will be available on Friday and Saturday. Morning tea will comprise a “bottomless” cup of tea or coffee accompanied by a plate of home-made slice, biscuits or cake - $8pp. For lunch we are offering either lasagne or spinach & ricotta pie, both served with fresh salad - $15pp.

Come and appreciate the arts and crafts created by our talented local members.  You can admire; pottery, paintings, photography, hand sewn and knitted/crocheted items, homemade preserves and so much more.  It is all for sale, so you can be tempted to take away a special memento.  We have some amazing art works by local members on display, all with different styles and subjects.

Guild members are excited to be involved in the Frost Over Barraba Festivities and wish the Frost Committee all the best for this year’s festival. The Guild has also sponsored the Junior Pottery prize this year.

The Claypan will be hosting some of the Frost workshops for further details and booking please visit www.frostoverbarraba.org.au/workshops.html .

So, if you are in Barraba for Frost Over Barraba, we’d love to see you at the Claypan and Fuller Gallery.  Drop in and say “hello” to our friendly volunteer members, enjoy a cuppa, a chat, a browse and relax over lunch.
