Frost is coming up on Thursday 5 - Sunday 8 September. Book a workshop, enter an artwork, buy a ticket, plan to visit, invite some friends. Please support this great Barraba festival.
Art Show entry now due
The paperwork for entering the Art Show needs to be submitted by midnight Monday August 26. We say ‘paperwork’ but it is all done online now. The Entry Guide and Entry form are on the Frost website. Some paper copies of the Entry Guide are at the Council offices. If you need help entering then give us a call. Call Ange on 0428 461 143, Jane on 0402 114 520 or Wendy on 0450 122 217. We will help you sort it out.
Your physical artworks don’t need to be completed when you enter them. The Barraba drop off day is Saturday 31 August. For people using depots spread out in the region it is Wednesday 28 August.
Children’s entries are FREE
Children can enter artworks in the Art Show for free. Teachers, grandparents etc are welcome to help children complete the online paperwork. Children’s artwork adds another dimension to the Art Show and can include photography, drawing, paintings and three-dimensional works such as pottery or constructions. Children really enjoy seeing their work displayed in the Art Show.
Workshop Program
There’s a program of creative workshops running across the four days with various arts and craft options for beginners to advanced participants. They start at $10 and there are options for children. Have a look online for options. If you need to pay in cash call Wendy on 0450 122 217.
