Judges Comment: There was a good cross section of crafts entered. The champion exhibit was an exquisite beaded necklace with crystals with the most successful exhibitor having entered an assortment of creative entries. The sunshine theme was evident in many items.

Collectors Corner

Judges Comment: A good number of interesting items which highlights Barraba’s interest in memorabilia and collectables. Some of the children’s entries were extra special. Deciding on first prize in some categories was very difficult. Congratulations to all entrants and it was very promising to see the Barraba Pony Club shield still in existence.

Judges Comment: Ally Denyer took out the champion exhibits in both the needlework and patchwork sections with some striking pieces. Rosemary Orchard also took out quite a few sections including a clever article reflecting the “Sunshine” pavilion theme.
