Daffodil Day 2026
The 2026 Cancer Council DAFFODIL DAY falls on THURSDAY 20st AUGUST. Barraba Cancer Patient’s Fund Raising Group Inc.(BCPFRG) will be helping to celebrate this day by holding their annual Street Stall, in the Queen Street Mall from 9am. Funds raised from Daffodil Day throughout the nation, assist in raising awareness of cancer and go towards cancer research projects. BCPFRG donate to the NSW Cancer Council and other Australian cancer related organizations.
Please come along and support this worthy cause – there will of course be beautifully bright yellow bunches of Daffodils, home baked/made goods of all varieties on the trading table, morning tea plates served with a cup of tea or coffee to be enjoyed in the mall, hopefully with some local musicians to add to the ambience. The Guessing Competition and 100 Club will be conducted, and plated goodies with daffodils will be delivered to the local Business Houses throughout the town.
The BCPFRG’s Daffodil Day Street Stall is shaping up to be another successful community event. We look forward to seeing you there next Thursday 20th August from 9am.
