Claypan Corner - shop for Christmas

10th November 2021

Claypan Corner

The raffle for our beautiful Patchwork Quilt, made and donated by Robyn Brown, will be drawn after our Christmas meeting on December 10th. Followed by a light finger food lunch. So buy those tickets now. Got to be ‘in it to win it’.

Our last meeting was held 15th October with a small number of members to ensure we were Covid Safe.

The renovation of the back area of the Clay Pan is finished but needs a working bee to put the finishing touches and to tidy up the gear in the back yard. The skirting boards in the Kitchen have been replaced.

We were unsuccessful in the Tamworth Business Awards but we say thank you to our unknown nominee as it was an enlightening process. Congratulations to Polkadot and Inland on their wins.

Pat Penna has iris available if anyone needs to be planting in this beautiful growing season.

Pottery, we have a few new potters which is really great. Good to see the skills of experienced potters being passed on. There is a possibility of an Adult Pottery Course early in 2022, so watch for further details if you’re interested.

Our trip to the Ceramic Break Sculpture Park was postponed until next year. The same for the Black and White Art workshop with Hugh McKid. Covid really has messed with many plans.

The Shutterbugs have started to meet again to organise their activities for next year. Check out their facebook page for details.

The Sunday sewing group is back in action and spinning will recommence next year.

Our Fuller Gallery is restocked and waiting for you to come and enjoy the display. Get in early for Christmas gifts.
