Update from the Barraba Lions

23rd January 2024

Following some decent rain, a decision had to be made to move the Christmas Tree celebrations from Rotary Park to the Bicentennial Hall. Council and Lions inspected the park earlier on Sunday and decided it was far too wet to hold the event there with water running out of the ground. Despite all of that, everyone made it down to the hall where Santa arrived with the aid of Peter Salter. Barraba Rugby Club ran the chocolate wheel again, and Rotary delivered the BBQ. Once Santa delivered all the toys, the Lions club drew the 100 club and their annual guessing comp. Winners are:

3rd. Artie Chester                4th. Jan Freestone
