A winter’s night to warm up Tamworth CBD

Tamworth’s CBD will come alive this winter with the return of A Winter’s Night, a free family-friendly community event set to transform Peel Street on Saturday August 1 from 5pm to 8pm.

Held between White and Fitzroy Streets, the event promises a vibrant evening of winter festivities, featuring market and food stalls, live entertainment, and a range of activities for all ages.

Designed to embrace the magic of the season, attendees can enjoy fire pits, warm treats and a lively atmosphere, along with family favourites including a silent disco, kids’ craft and hot chocolates.

The event is part of Tamworth Regional Council’s ongoing commitment to activating the CBD and creating opportunities for the community to come together, while also supporting local businesses.

To support event delivery, Peel Street between White and Brisbane Streets will be closed to traffic from 2pm to 10pm on the day. Residents and visitors from across the region are encouraged to rug up and head to Peel Street for a night of winter-themed fun, entertainment and community connection.
