On Sunday, 14th June, Barraba Golf Club hosted an Individual Stableford competition. The cold weather and damp course conditions seemingly made scoring difficult.

The winner was Paul Grigg (26), who scored 36 Stableford points, edging ahead of a three-way tie for second place. Keiran Darlington (13), Neil Smith (24), and Gary Allen (18) all finished with 35 points, with Keiran taking the place on a countback. Ball winners for the day were Josh Austin (12), Jamie Neale (5), and South Australian visitor Jan Chalmers (18). Jan also was the highest scoring Lady, narrowly defeating Amanda Koopman (15) and Kerrie Smith (26).

The Barraba Golf Club welcomes all players to participate each Sunday for a 12 midday start. Provisions can be made for social golfers to be included. Next Sunday is Round 2 of the Club Championship with members contesting the C. Tonkin Trophy.
