Update from Rachel at The Playhouse Hotel

To everyone who has been patient while we settled in, got organised, and worked through Andrew's long goodbye—thank you for your understanding and support.

I finally feel that we are in a position to start planning for the future in a more focused and practical way. Our personal lives needed time to adjust, and while we trialled a café concept, unfortunately the cook was not the right fit for our team or our community, so I made the difficult decision to close that chapter.

I am excited to share some of the ideas and opportunities we have planned for The Playhouse. While there are no firm timelines or opening dates just yet, our vision is to create a welcoming place where people can connect, relax, and enjoy a variety of experiences.

We would love to open our doors as a sit-down stay-and-play café, meeting place, conference and retreat venue, and host themed movie nights, trivia evenings, karaoke events, and much more.

The Playhouse is also available for private functions, including baby showers, weddings, birthday parties, and special celebrations. We can assist with decorations, or you are welcome to bring your own. Catering options can be tailored to suit your budget and requirements.

Our accommodation offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, with self-contained rooms available for both short and long-term stays.
