A SUNNY FROST AT FULLER GALLERY

Glorious sunny weather enticed both locals and visitors to experience the Frost Over Barraba Festival, which was welcomed back after a few years absence.

The Fuller Gallery enjoyed a good crowd of browsers on Saturday and Sunday.  Besides the Satellite Exhibition of art work by Mike Simpson, Martin Unwin and Lew Koopman; the gallery was brimming with lots of locally made art, craft and pottery items.  The “Frost Specials” table and plant stall on the footpath captured the attention of many visitors.

Tempting aromas of Massaman Curry and Chicken Cacciatore drifting from the Gallery kitchen drew in visitors for lunch on both days.  Baked homemade sweet treats, too many to name, coupled with a cup of tea or coffee enjoyed in the relaxing atmosphere of the Gallery was just what visitors needed after a busy morning enjoying the festivities in the main street.

Committee members reported that the Frost Over Barraba weekend has resulted in good trade for the Barraba Potters and Craft Guild Inc.  A special thanks to everyone who helped with food for morning tea and lunch; and those who gave time on rosters over the weekend.
