Rugby News - Zone points reported

15th June 2022

Rugby Union

Well, the Country Week Carnival has been held over the long weekend with Central North picking a men’s and women’s side.

It was good to see 4 girls from the Barraba/Gwydir club selected in the team. They were Nat Philpott, Amie Middlemiss, Emily Kelso and Peta Lawrence. These girls will bring back some new ideas and skills for their experience. Even though they may not have big numbers to choose from each week, there are players running around with the ability to be selected for the higher honours. Well done girls, you have done the club proud.

For any girls who wish to join the Club you would be most welcome to join in. There would have been other girls in the team who were good enough. Results next week.
