Golf report for the 29th May 22

Golf Notes from the 29 May 2022

Firmen Allan carded a good score of 38 points to claim Graham Bowmans trophy on Sunday. Runner up was Daniel Anderson on 37 points with balls also going to Peter Simpson 34, Paul Grigg 33, Kerrie Smith 33 and Ian Cabot on 31 points. Firmen Allan claimed an NTP on the 6th hole. 

In singles match play results Firmen defeated Kerrie Smith 3 and I, Daniel Anderson defeated Kevin Kelaher 4 and 3 whilst Ian Cabot defeated Tom Mellor on the 19th after being 4 down on the turn. 

Next week is the second round of our Club Championship and we will play for a trophy donated by Campbell Tonkin. 

We had 6 players travel to Werris Creek on Sunday for their Open Day.  Whilst no prize winners it was a very enjoyable day with the course and hospitality a credit to the Werris Creek Golf Club.
