Amazingly enough, we had joint winners of the most successful exhibitor’s prize: Penny Blomfield and Chris Glasheen. The high quality of the entries made judging so difficult. The Champion crochet work was a very fine price of craftsmanship. The champion knitting entry, a knitted shawl, was an amazing cornucopia of design and colour.
