The Barraba Show is this weekend 6th to 8th March. Don’t forget to get your entries into the pavilion by Friday. Entry details at www.barrabashow.com.au

We have once again decorated the guild window for the street window competition. The Pavilion theme is ‘Rivers and Creeks’, with a gold panning twist to our display.

We will also need donations of cakes, slices and biscuits for morning teas at the Show. They can be left at the Guild on Friday 6th or dropped off early Saturday to the Showground luncheon Pavilion.

SAVE THE DATE FOR our annual Warm and Woolly Exhibition on the June Long Weekend 5th to 8th June. We agreed we would have an exhibition of “Things from Yesteryear” along with the usual Gallery display, morning tea and lunch sales.

Don’t forget to knit or crochet squares for the Tree Bombing project and leave them at the Gallery to be sewn together, ready to be placed onto the trees and bench in front of the Gallery and Museum.

Dates for the diary: Proposed Street Stall days - Thursday 21st May and Thursday 1st October.

Thank you to Arlene Weekes for organising the planter pot to be placed on the footpath in front of the Gallery. The plants have already started to grow, thanks to Mandy’s green thumb. A mix of pottery and mosaic tiles will be going on soon. This pot will complete the project, congratulations to Arlene and her team of dedicated tilers.

Birthday Lunch catering continues as a fundraiser for the Guild. Helpers are required for the 28th March. Please let Bronwyn know if you are available to help.

Pop in to the Gallery for a browse of the amazing array of locally made arts, crafts, pottery, photography and much more and support our local crafts people. Gallery is open from 10am to 1.30pm most days of the week.

Thank you to everyone for your support of The Barraba Potters and Craft Guild.
