Don't miss the motor bike barrel racing at the Show

3rd March 2026

Motorbike Barrel Race 2026

(Friday 6th March – Barraba Show)

It’s on again, this Friday night entertainment at the show, the Motorbike Barrel Race (Section 0) kicking off at 6pm

Last year we had 25 racers, with the mini’s (Class 1 7-12 years) being the largest.  This year a few of the mini racers will move into the Tweens (Class 2 13-17 years) changing the line up quite a bit.

The mini racers saw times as quick as 24.06 with locals Jed Latham and Jock Cabot placing in the top three. The Tweens saw times as quick as 17.65 with local Will Russell placing 2nd. The Seniors (Class 3 18+) was incredibly fast and entertaining as Nathan Todd took his second win with a time of 17.97 beating two lads from Tamworth.  The Encouragement Award – Myles Cordingley who showed amazing grit.

We hope to get a few more entries in the Clapped Out Ag (Class 4) after it was so entertaining in 2024. So, dust off the old ag bike, shout it some fresh fuel and chain lube and bring it in.

We can’t help but wonder, who will be our winners this year??

Entries can be made now at Phil Denyer Mechanical Repairs or e-mail us on philipdenyer@outlook.com. We will shut early on Friday to setup and entries will then be able to be made in person at the caravan office at the Rodeo Arena.

We look forward to seeing you competing, watching and cheering the event on for its third year.                                      Thanks – Phil & Ally Denyer
