Barraba Central School

Parliament of NSW School Leadership Program

Gemma and Jack had the honour of representing Barraba Central School at the NSW Parliament School Leadership Program in Sydney. The program brought together student leaders from across New South Wales to explore the workings of state government and develop their leadership skills.

UNE Open Day

Secondary students headed to Armidale for the annual UNE Open Day, where they explored a range of university courses, had a taste of campus life, and discovered the support services and accommodation options available to future students.

Rural Students Café

Secondary students attended the Royal Easter Show during the holidays, where Hospitality students from across NSW prepared and served a “Rural Tasting Plate.” Cookery and Food/Beverage students completed simulated work placement hours by working at the café over a three day period. Our students were outstanding—hardworking, adaptable, and consistently polite. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we were incredibly proud of their efforts.
