A successful weekend for the 'mud run'

MUDDY MAY-Hem - WOW
On Friday & Saturday we saw over two dozen cars enter and many many spectators enjoyed the inaugural Muddy MAY-Hem held by Aircooled Assembly Inc. The atmosphere was abuzz with excitement and awe and everyone who came from far and wide were blown away with Barraba - we had so many enthusiastic comments from people about how amazing the grounds and venue were and how welcoming and lovely the town and its people are.
There were slips (and spills) on the track which provided entertainment and all had a blast and kept safe. The raffles and live music proved a big hit as all enjoyed the social nightlife that followed the track action each day. Families and friends’ groups were in abundance and everyone had a knock out time and enjoyed the spirit of the mudrun community.
People come from all over NSW as far south as Sydney and from all along the east coast, as well as a few inlanders on top of the locals here. Queensland was represented on stage with one of the live band members, Nude Luke, coming all the way from his Island. The Aircooled Assembly Inc are very happy with the event and are very proud of Barraba for being so welcoming of the influx of people.
A big thank you to all involved - the list is too gigantic to individually name all of the people, clubs, businesses and groups who made this event the stand out that it was. Lastly, we would like to thank the Barraba community for their enthusiasm and their support including event sponsors Opportunity Knocks Op Shop & Ampol Barraba.
