Barraba SES helping the community

Well of course the Interschools Run is over and I am happy to say the SES didn't need to give first aid to any of the competitors. This meant that no injuries were sustained by anyone. The other good news was, we had a relaxed day and enjoyed the well-run event. Thank you to the organizers and participants alike.
As I previously mentioned and will continue to mention, we need your help to grow YOUR SES unit here in Barraba. This can only be done if you volunteer. All training is paid for by the SES and in most cases the qualifications are generally nationally recognised and can work in your favour if seeking employment.
For more information please contact Greg Forder (Unit Commander) on 0421 919 789 or come and see us at the Unit each Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We are located in Maude Street in the same building as the RFS which is over the road from the Medical Centre.
