Hello Everyone
Firstly, I must apologise for the boo-boo in my last notes. The number of seats available should have read twenty-eight. A few names are in already, so if you are thinking of going on our trip, please get your name in. A brief outline of the week is – Dubbo Zoo – Royal Flying Doctor Base – Burrendong Dam – Botanical Gardens and the Old Dubbo Gaol, in there somewhere will be a visit to the Planetarium. I am flat out trying to get a good deal for accommodation, I am hoping that will be done in the next couple of days.
Now before I forget, a big thank you to the ladies at the new op shop, for their donation for the installation of the new toilets at Seniors. Thank you also to Dave Harfield for the plumbing work carried out. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Next on the list is our street stall on 10th May. Goodies are needed to stock the stall; anything will be very acceptable.
The Wednesday handicraft mornings are proving quite popular, so ladies, if you have a favourite craft, do feel free to join in, even to just sit and chat to while away a Wednesday.
