Perfect weather for the annual Manilla Vintage Machinery Rally
Vintage machinery of all types, classic and vintage cars and trucks, many, many tractors, AND steam engines were all on display (and many on parade!) at the annual Rally last weekend. Large crowds enjoyed perfect weather for this festival of all things vintage and mechanical.
This steam engine was used in the early 1970s to power Stan William’s sawmill on “Sadowa” at Rocky Creek. In 2017 Ross Taylor from Tamworth bought the engine and fully restored it. The Marshall’s gleaming paint work and spectacular “choofa choofa” working draws crowds wherever it goes.
