WW1 display in the main street

Remembrance Day 11th November
To coincide with Remembrance Day there will a WW1 Military display in the shopfronts opposite the old Court House on Queen St, from Saturday 5th Nov to Thursday 17th Nov. To remember and honour those who served and died in WW1, which ended at 11am on the 11th Nov 1918. Germany having signed the armistice at 5am that day to surrender and end the war. 416,809 Australians served in the war, of which 59,341 were killed and 166,789 wounded.
