Councillor contact update

Tamworth Regional Council has changed the way community members are able to contact Councillors among a range of active steps towards stronger cyber security. Responding recently to high-risk notifications from the NSW Cyber Security Centre, Tamworth Regional Council removed all direct email addresses from the website.
There is now an easy-to-use online contact form. It will help filter out unwanted spam and phishing attempts. During May alone over 15.2% of inbound emails to the trc@tamworth.nsw.gov.au account were blocked by Tamworth Regional Council’s firewall for reasons including malware, spam, phishing and other cyber threats.
