SUNDAY 9 MARCH 2025 Big changes in 2025!
Our very popular pet show is on again at the 2025 Barraba Show – but we have made some great improvements. The basics are the same: bring along your small pet, and entries are open to all young people up to senior high school. It is not just dogs; there are classes for birds, cats, and other small animals. There is even a class (and an award) for the most unusual pet!
The major improvements are:
A new more convenient time on Sunday – register at 9.30 am, judging starts at 10.30 am.
The Dog classes have been simplified to just four and there are now more novelty and fun classes.
Thanks to our new major sponsor, the Barraba Vet, there are more vouchers and more great prizes.
AND – a new competition – the Dog Jump!
All animals must be on a lead, or in a cage or pen. All entries for the dog classes (and all dogs that come onto the Showground) must be more than 3 months old, be fully vaccinated and have a current vaccination certificate. Entries ($1 per class) open at 9.30 am behind the Grandstand.
Judging will be at 10.30 am on Sunday 9th March behind the Grandstand. Come along – there are heaps of ribbons, certificates, and prizes to be won – it is always great fun.
