2025 BARRABA SHOW – Some new events and attractions
- Junior Judging – Friday 7 March
For the first time this year Barraba Show is hosting the Group 13 Young Judges and Paraders Competition. Competition is open to anyone (15 – 25 years old); the winners will qualify to compete at the Sydney Royal Easter Show; to enter you must be available to attend the Royal Easter Show. Young people who can’t get to Sydney, can enter the local Young Judges and Paraders competition, held on Saturday 8 March as part of the Cattle Section.
The Young Judges and Paraders Competition is kicking off with registrations at 8am on Friday. We will have all of the following sections to take part in: Merino Sheep, Meat Sheep, Merino Fleeces, Grain, Fruits and Veg and Cattle. We invite everyone in the age bracket below to join us to learn more about judging and to take part. We also encourage spectators to come and watch these amazing young people carry out their judging, and speak about their choices.

Reminder to competitors: Competitors enter the show for free for the event only and all accompanying persons must pay at the gate.
- Xtreme Broncs and Rodeo - Friday and Saturday nights

Wrangler Xtreme Broncs on Friday night 7 March kicking off around 7:30pm.
ABCRA Novice and Junior Rodeo on Saturday the 8th, then followed by live music from Vanessa Lea and the Road Train.

- Cirqueum Navigate: from 4 pm Friday and from 12.30 pm Saturday
Bring the kids to come join the team from Cirqueum Navigate to experience an unforgettable interactive circus play space as well as stilt walking, giant slinky and bubbles stretching the bounds of logical physics and reason.
