Barraba Ladies Open 4Ball results

A good field of 50 ladies played in the Barraba Ladies Open Fourball on Sunday. Whilst the rain came towards the end of the day it failed to dampen the enthusiasm and scores of the day. 

The overall scratch winners were Jann Moore and Jenny Fisher from Werris Creek with a scratch score of 25 points three shots ahead of runners up Kay Nash and Anne Keys from Armidale on 22. Net winners for the day with 43 points were Lib Thompson from Barraba and Michelle Court Manilla with Amanda Koopman and Kerrie Smith from Barraba runners up on 41 points.

Front nine winners with 22 points were Di Brown and Mary Davey from Glen Innes whilst back nine winners with 24 points were Barraba’s Anne Smith and Sue Webb from Manilla. 

Longest drives went to; 

A Grade Amanda Carr (Armidale)

B Grade Mary Davey (Glen Innes)

C Grade Anne Smith (Barraba)

NTPs went to

3rd Polly Locke (Walcha)

6th Di Brown ( Glen Innes)

12th Anne Smith (Barraba)

16th Vicki Betts (Tamworth)

18th Shirley Bruce (Glen Innes)

President Will Sedgwick thanked everyone attending with players travelling from Armidale, Walcha, Glen Innes, Guyra, Tamworth, Quirindi, Werris Creek and Manilla. He spoke of the need for clubs to support each other’s tournaments and it was pleasing to see such a good turnout.
