Memories of McIntyre School - Sam Faint
There was a dirt road from “Seven Hills” to McIntyre School. About six gates had to be opened and closed in between. Ken Raylton was boarding at “Seven Hills” and one morning, as usual, five kids piled into his car (a Citroen) to be driven to school - Ros, Rob & Sheree Hockley, Sam & Pat Faint and Phillip Spencer. We went around a bend near Shenstone School and the front passenger door flew open and I started to fall. Ken grabbed my arm and stopped me from falling out.
