Hot line up for Tamworth’s new festival

The Tamworth Barbeque Festival will be one for music fans with the first round of acts for the inaugural festival including bands, duos and DJs from all over the country.

Headlining the hot new event will be festival favourites The Wolfe Brothers, Y.O.G.A. (Peking Duk’s Reuben Styles), and Sweet Talk. With a variety of acts in town, event organisers are excited to offer something for most musical tastes at this new event. With over 20 hours of live music on the bill, other artists include Hurricane Fall, Brother Hollow, Liquid Zoo, Jack and the Axes, and Sally-Anne Whitten and the Rumour Mill with more performers to be announced soon.

The Tamworth Barbeque Festival will run across the last weekend in September, Friday 27 September until Sunday 29 September at the Riverside Sporting Complex on Carter Street. The festival will offer three days of American-style low and slow barbeque-related food and market stalls, smoker demonstrations, the National Thunder Motorcycle Rally and live music. Three-day passes are available for the whole weekend at $65, or day passes for $25 Friday, $35 Saturday and $15 Sunday. Children under 16 are free all weekend.
