WOMEN IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT
On Friday 5 July, a Women for Election EQUIP: Candidate Training Program session will be held at the Tamworth Community Centre. This training is free and will provide tools and techniques for women with the key knowledge of how to campaign at all levels of government.
There will also be two online Women for Election EQUIP: Candidate Training Program sessions held at 6pm on Tuesday 9 and 16 July.

Candidate Information Session Registration Form
Anyone considering running in the 2024 Local Government Elections for Tamworth Regional Council can find out more about what the role of an elected official involves at an information session on Wednesday 17 July, 2024, at the Tamworth Community Centre from 6pm - 8pm.
The Candidate Information Session will include details about the role of a Councillor in line with the NSW Local Government Act and other legislation, Tamworth Region Mayor Russell Webb will share insights from his own experiences as a Councillor, Council’s General Manager Paul Bennett will speak and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. There will be some printed information available
for attendees.
There is no cost involved but attendees must register by completing an application form online by noon on Monday 15 July, 2024.
