Barraba Rotary donation to the Potters

The Claypan says “thanks” to Barraba Rotary

 Some months ago, Barraba Rotary Club gave a generous donation to the Claypan towards the purchase of a new kiln for the potters. The Guild had been saving for some time to purchase the kiln when the old one became unrepairable. The Rotary donation, along with several other donations and fund raising, topped up the account enabling the purchase.

 Guild members took the opportunity to thank the Rotary members last week with a dinner for Rotary members and their partners. A ‘tour’ of the kiln was provided by several of our keen potters with an explanation of how it works.
