St Joseph's Progress Achievement Tests

Students are currently completing assessments called PAT. This stands for Progressive Achievement Tests and is conducted in reading and numeracy. We can then compare growth over a period of time, usually 12 months, though we choose to test twice per year. The diagnostic tests are designed by the Australian Council for Educational Research. This data is used to determine next steps in teaching and learning. Even though we only started this week we have had one student climb 33 points for reading when the average growth is 10. This again is testament to the work of the student and teaching team. Below are some of the children assessed so far who have achieved some great results.
