Barraba Ambulance Station history

My Name is Peter McGuffog born Barraba NSW 3/06/61

Father was Ian James McGuffog. I lived in the said ambulance station with my brother Gregory James

It was built by my dada and Bobby Munson he was married to Nanny Munson and they had two children Kerry (became a teacher) and the son worked at Tamworth Airport I believe.

When my dad was called away on a job I would stay with Nanny Munson.

I have many fond memories of driving to collect subscription with my dad.

He was promoted and went to Walgett NSW built a new station there. Then went to Gunnedah NSW as the Superintendent

In 1987 he was transferred to Sydney as the Western Metropolitan Superintendent, then the Metropolitan Superintendent, then he became the NSW Wales State Counter Disaster Superintendent.
