Rugby Report - looking forward to next week

Well, not much to report this week as the lady’s team was short and failed to travel to Scone for the game. The men’s side forfeited to Moree in Bingara, I don’t know the reason for that and Bingara had a big weekend of events.
This coming Saturday Barraba/Gwydir travel to Inverell for the game before taking on Pirates on the 13th August in the second last game before the semis.
On the Pirates weekend, the Club is hoping to get an ‘old boys’ game together. Geoff White is collecting names of all old players of the Club wishing to come and enjoy the day out. One suggestion for the day was to bring back the tent, which upset some of the referees, so it may not occur but would bring back some good times in the south west corner of the ground.
