30th June 2021

Are you enjoying our frosty mornings?

There is a suggestion that our weekly service should move to 10am for winter. If you have a firm opinion one way or the other, please speak to Daniel.

On Saturday, 3rd July there will be a working bee: roll along any time after 8am.

There will be a service at Woodsreef at 11.30am on 11th; Parish Council meets on 18th; and the service at Bereen is on 25th.

The Prayer Meeting on Tuesday, 13th, has been moved forward to 1pm. It will be held in the vestry and will be followed by Holy Communion for those who wish to stay on. Peter Sholl, who grew up in Armidale and has since worked as a missionary in Mexico, is to be the speaker at the CMS Mission Encounter at Calrossy on 6th and 7th August.

It was not much fun going back to distancing and face masks in church this week. Please continue to pray for wisdom, guidance and compassion for the researchers, health workers, politicians and all who are trying to steer us through the pandemic and in the words of Paul to the Romans, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Chapter 15 verse 13) Beth
