Oliver Twist - a play by Rick Hutton from the Charles Dickens novel

WHAT: An orphan, Oliver Twist, is one of many young kids in the Parish Workhouse. There, the Beadle, Mr Bumble
and the Matron, Widow Corney, deal out a strict discipline, and a repetitive meal of gruel. Oliver is selected by his
mates to ask for ‘MORE’. Mr Bumble decides to evict Oliver from the Workhouse and sell him into servitude. He is
taken in by the Undertaker the Sourbury’s. They treat him badly and he escapes. He meets up with the Artful Dodger
and is introduced to Fagin's Gang of pickpockets.
