Census Field Officer jobs

The Australian National Census will be happening again in August 2026, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics is looking for field officers across Australia.

As a Field Officer, you’ll be the local face of the Census. You’ll deliver Census letters and forms, answer questions from the public and follow up households that haven’t yet responded.
