Nominate to be on the Barraba Aust Day selection panel
Expressions of Interest open for Australia Day Panels
Tamworth Regional Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from community members who would like to be part of the Barraba and Manilla Australia Day Advisory Panels. The Advisory Panels play an important role in celebrating local achievements by reviewing nominations for the annual Australia Day Awards and selecting the award recipients for each community.
Council is seeking individuals with a positive commitment to the role and a genuine interest in recognising the contributions and achievements of local residents. Panel members should be willing to actively participate in the review process and demonstrate impartiality when assessing nominations. Each Advisory Panel will consist of four community members, appointed for a three-year term. At the conclusion of the term, Council will invite new Expressions of Interest, and existing members will be welcome to reapply.
All nominations for appointment to the Australia Day Advisory Panel must be submitted through the online form, www.tamworth.nsw.gov.au/about/forms/expression-of-interest-barraba-and-manilla-australia-day-advisory-panels and supported by a referee. Nominations close at 4pm, Thursday 6 November 2025.
