Another successful Garden Ramble for cancer funds

A lovely cool day greeted folk who wandered throughout the delightful open gardens last weekend for the Barraba Cancer Patients Fund Raising Group Inc (BCPFRG) 2025 Garden Ramble. Each garden looked a picture in its entirety, despite the challenging weather conditions during the week prior.
Sincere thanks to the owners of The Oaks, Nangarah, Doonba and Tycolah Cottage for sharing your beautiful gardens with the wider community. This assisted in raising funds for the recipients that BCPFRG donate towards annually – namely various Australian Cancer related and Cancer research organisations. Thank you to all of the Rotary Club of Barraba and Rotarians who supported the day, and the BCPFRG committee who were involved as well. The Anglican Church members and St Joseph’s School P&F sold refreshments too – thank you.
Winners of the raffle were: 1st-Margot Denyer, 2nd-Kerrie Smith, 3rd-Lyn Groth, 4th-Viv Mulley. Gratitude and appreciation also extend to the donors of the raffle prizes.
