PARKING IN TAMWORTH
You asked, we listened!
As part of the Tamworth Regional Parking Strategy, we are installing 32 compliant disabled parking spaces in the Tamworth CBD.
Work will begin on the accessible spaces located on Peel Street, between Darling and Roderick Streets, later this week and is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete, weather permitting.
The construction works will aim to improve accessibility in the CBD and include installing new pram ramps, gutter bridges and signs to enable safe access to the footpath from vehicles.
