Daffodil Day for 2025 is just around the corner: Thursday 21st August, sees the Barraba Cancer Patients Fund Raising Group Inc. (BCPFRG Inc.) conducting their annual Street Stall in the QUEEN STREET MALL from 9am.
There will be delightfully sunny and bright bunches of Daffodils for sale from the tables. Home baked cakes, loaves, slices, biscuits, some savory morsels and homegrown produce will all adorn the sale tables as well. A guessing competition and 100 Club always prove to be popular with customers as they pass by the Stall.
An invitation to have morning tea with a friendly cup of tea or coffee in the Mall also stands, whilst being entertained by the much-loved band “Old Spice”, with many of the old time favourite songs and music. Morning tea plates and Daffodils will also be for sale around the township at the various business houses.
Funds raised from Daffodil Day throughout the country, assist in raising awareness of cancer and are put towards cancer related projects and research by the NSW Cancer Council, among other Organizations.
So please come along to help support the local BCPFRG Inc. with their efforts in supporting such worthy causes, a week tomorrow, Thursday 21st, 9am in the Queen Street Mall. See you there!
