Showjumping is on again

SHOWJUMPING AND THE SIXBAR COMPETITION – on again!

There will be a full program of Showjumping at this year’s Show – entries on the day. We missed listing the SIXBAR Competition in last week’s published program.

Friday 1 March from 12 midday: Junior and lower height classes.

Saturday 2 March from 8.30 am:  All heights and Championship events.

Saturday 2 March 4.30 pm: U18 and Open Six Bar Competition.

Showjumping is always exciting to watch – there is much skill in getting around the course without hitting any of the jumps. Perhaps most exciting is the SIX-BAR competition, this year with a prize pool of $455.00.  The SIX BAR will be the last event on Saturday afternoon, in front of the Grandstand.  A real crowd pleaser for spectators at previous Shows; six jumps are lined up in a straight line along the racetrack. After each round the jumps are raised; a competitor who knocks one is eliminated. The competition continues until there is only one horse and rider left; we have a winner!

Definitely should not be missed; about 4.30 pm on Saturday 2 March!
