Golf Notes Saturday 6th May

Di Etheridge and Mike Artis combined well to win the 2023 Mixed Open Fourball on Saturday 6th May with 45 points on a countback. It was their massive 26 points on the back nine that allowed them to just win from Kerri Smith and Ian Cabot. The winners said whilst they combined well there was a bit of cousin luck at times which made the day fun and a bit more special. There were three pairings on 43 points who included Josh Austin and Bev Muller (Tam), Craig Rutley and Cath Pyne (Tam) and also Liam Johnston and Lib Thompson.

In the Scratch event the brother and sister pairing of Peter York and Mandy Koopman were the winners on 33 two shots ahead of Craig Rutley and Cath Pyne (Tam).

NTPs went to Lyn Simpson on the 6th and Maxine Townsend (Tam) on the 3rd and 12th.

Special thankyou to our visitors who travelled to Barraba for the day.

During the presentation President Will Sedgwick and players raised their glass in memory of the passing of member Nan Bowman.
