Barraba Rams update 27th June 2026
Barraba Rams Round Report – Saturday 27th June.
The Barraba Rams welcomed the Armidale Barbarians to Barraba on Saturday, with both our Women's and Men's teams taking to the field in front of a fantastic home crowd.
The Rams Women kicked off the day in outstanding fashion with a dominant 45–10 victory. The forward pack laid the platform with strong defence and physical carries, while the backs combined brilliantly with great support play to capitalise on every opportunity. It was a complete team performance, with structured attack and disciplined defence proving too much for the Barbarians.
Try Scorers: Charlie Norton (3) Ally Smith (2) Chelsea Elton (1) Ruby Smith (1)
Game Points: 3 Points – Charlie Norton. 2 Points – Ally Smith. 1 Point – Amie Middlemiss. Players' Player – Chelsea Elton.
With seven rounds complete, the Rams Women have recorded 7 wins from 8 matches and sit 2nd on the competition ladder, just behind Glen Innes as they continue to build towards the finals.
The Rams Men came out firing, with strong carries from both the forwards and backs, using their skill and attacking ability to put early points on the board. The Armidale Barbarians responded strongly in the second half, but the Rams never stopped fighting, defending courageously right until the final whistle. Despite the effort, Barraba went down 24–38.
