Barraba Bulldogs Celebrate Community Spirit with Ladies Day 2026

The Barraba Bulldogs Rugby League Football Club is inviting the community to one of the biggest events on its 2026 calendar when Ladies Day returns on Saturday, 4 July, combining country rugby league, entertainment and fundraising for a worthy local cause.

With the Barraba Bulldogs taking on the Warialda Wombats at Barraba Recreation Ground, the day promises exciting football before celebrations continue into the evening at the Barraba Bowling Club.

Ladies Day has become one of the Club's premier social events, bringing together players, families, supporters and visitors for an afternoon of friendship, community spirit and fundraising.

The ticketed Ladies Day experience includes exclusive VIP access, gourmet grazing platters, drink vouchers at the Bowling Club, raffles, games, lucky door prizes and live entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Following the final whistle, everyone is invited to continue the celebrations at the Barraba Bowling Club from 6.30pm for the annual Ladies Day Jersey Auction, raffles and live music by country entertainer Matt Barratt from 8.30pm.

Importantly, proceeds from the 2026 Ladies Day Jersey Auction will support the Barraba Palliative Care Unit, helping provide valuable local health services for the community.

Barraba Bulldogs President Neville Phillips said the event showcased what community rugby league is all about.

"Ladies Day is much more than a day at the football. It's an opportunity for our whole community to come together, enjoy a fantastic day out and support an incredibly important local cause. Every ticket sold and every bid at the jersey auction helps make a difference right here in Barraba."

The Club is encouraging everyone to attend, whether they purchase a Ladies Day ticket or simply join the evening festivities after the football.

The match day schedule is:

  • Ladies League Tag – 12.00 pm
  • Reserve Grade – 1.15 pm 1
  • First Grade – 2.30 pm

Ladies Day tickets are available until Thursday, 2 July 2026to assist with catering and final numbers.

Whether you're a rugby league supporter, looking for a great day out with friends, or wanting to support local healthcare, everyone is welcome to be part of the celebrations.

One Community. One Club. Let’s join in and support Barraba Palliative Care.
