Rotary donates to Richardson House
Rotary Club of Barraba Proudly Donates $26,000 to Richardson House:
A Gift of Comfort, Dignity, and Community Care
The Rotary Club of Barraba is proud to announce a donation of $26,000 to Richardson House Aged Care — a contribution that will allow the facility to purchase six much-needed new beds for local seniors in our community.
As a club dedicated to service, we believe in supporting the people and organisations that form the heart of Barraba. Richardson House is one such cornerstone. Their staff work every day to provide compassionate, high-quality care for our older residents, and we are honoured to assist in strengthening the vital services they provide.
These new beds are more than just equipment.
They represent comfort, safety, dignity, and improved quality of life for the residents who will use them. Modern aged care beds help support residents with mobility needs, reduce risk of injury, and allow staff to care more comfortably and effectively. This donation ensures Richardson House can continue meeting increasing needs with confidence and care.
For our club, this contribution reflects Rotary’s long-standing commitment to “Service Above Self” — and our belief that supporting local aged care is one of the most meaningful ways we can give back. Our seniors have shaped our town, our memories, and our community spirit; helping provide for their wellbeing is a privilege we hold deeply.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our members, supporters, and the broader Barraba community. Your ongoing involvement in Rotary projects makes contributions like this possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community — one where every generation is valued and supported.
The Rotary Club of Barraba encourages everyone to stay engaged with local initiatives, lend a hand where they can, and join us in continuing to make a difference right here at home.
