 On Sunday we contested our annual Foursomes Championship kindly donated by Peter York and Alan Yates for the Scratch event and Kevin Kelaher and Roberts Sweeney for the Net. A Foursomes event can test friendships with each player in the team teeing off and after selecting the best of the two drives alternate shots are then hit using the one ball until it is putted in. Winners of the Scratch were Chris and Nick Sweeney carding an 82 with runners up being Daniel Lott and Kieran Darlington 86 alongside Josh Austin and Luke Smith also 86.

The Net trophy was won by Dan Lott and Kieran Darlington with a net 74.75 from Josh Austin and Luke Smith net 75.87

 Only one NTP was Josh Austin on the 16th which finished about 1.5 metre away.

Next week 13th July is a single stroke for Kerry Smith’s trophy and the following Sunday 20th July is the 3rd round of our Club Championships for Sam Faint’s trophy.
