DNCO Visitor Experience Forum – Tamworth – 6-7 May 2025

Destination Country and Outback is pleased to be delivering the third annual Visitor Experience Forum, to be held in Tamworth on 6-7 May 2025.

The 2025 DNCO Visitor Experiences Summit theme is shaping places – 24 hours in and around Tamworth. Starting on Tuesday, 6 May at 2pm in the Tamworth Regional Gallery and finishing at 2pm on Wednesday, 7 May. The Summit will feature thought leaders, industry experts, and tourism colleagues sharing their ideas and tips to help businesses identify their experiences and grow and prosper into the future.

The Summit will explore trends, data, and projections via keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops. Expect an action-packed and inspiring 24 hours in Tamworth, MC’d by the skilled and engaging Nigel Collin. Your ticket includes networking drinks on Tuesday evening at The Press (this event is free to attend for those who purchase a ticket). DNSW Aboriginal Experience Development Pathway

Destination NSW has launched a new initiative to support Aboriginal tourism businesses in regional areas, with data showing record numbers of visitors are seeking Aboriginal experiences in NSW.

This program is open to:

  • Aspiring or existing Aboriginal-owned or led tourism businesses, including accommodation providers, tour operators, activity providers, and visitor attractions such as museums, galleries, wineries, breweries, and farm gates.
  • Non-Aboriginal tourism businesses that offer an Aboriginal-led experience.

The Pathway includes the following for each participating business:

  • Introduction session led by Destination NSW and NATOC
  • A one-on-one meeting at their business or on Country

Invitation to take part in an Aboriginal experience familarisation with an existing NSW Aboriginal experience provider. Familiarisations must take place before 30 June 2025. Participation in the program is free. Applications close at 5pm AEST on Friday 2 May 2025
