Tree Bombing Activity
FRIDAY MORNINGS AT THE CLAY PAN
Commencing Friday 21st March at 10.30AM TO 12.30PM
The Barraba Potters and Craft Guild members are excited to be conducting FREE community sessions to help achieve our Tree Bombing Project. Aimed to promote social interaction, town beautification by brightening up our Plane trees and bench seat in front of the gallery and to increase Barraba tourism opportunities. Yarn Bombing is the process of wrapping trees in brightly coloured crochet or knitted squares or "bombs". Come along and enjoy an outing as you are taught simple knitting & crochet techniques. Everyone (from beginners to accomplished knitters) are welcome to join in and be part of this activity.
The trees and seat bombing will coincide with the Warm and Wooli event at the Clay Pan on the long weekend in June.
