Be careful about embedded battery disposal

Embedded batteries in items like AirPods and vapes pose a serious fire hazard when disposed of incorrectly!

Fun Fact: Tamworth’s Community Recycling Centre is one of only 20 locations that currently accepts embedded batteries for recycling.

Batteries of all shapes and sizes, embedded or not, are a real fire danger if disposed of through your kerbside bin. Make sure you recycle right by dropping these off at your local Community Recycling Centre.
