The Hospital Auxiliary held a general meeting on the 1st of November at the Day Centre. At the meeting discussions were held to organise the Street stall on the 8th of November from 9am. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

The lamington drive to have orders in by the 8th November. $12 for pack of 6 lamingtons. Pick up on the 15th of November at the Hospital Day Centre. Order forms can be obtained from an Auxiliary member, Polkadot Coffee Room, at the street stall or with the Health Service office staff.

Jenny Simpson recently attended the State UHA conference in Sydney and gave a very comprehensive report on state wide activities, resolutions, guest speakers and topics that they spoke on. Jenny enjoyed her time at conference and stated that she learnt a great deal.

The Barraba Hospital Auxiliary is currently helping to purchase new items of furniture and garden equipment for the Quiet Room and adjoining court yard. A lounge and 2 reclining chairs have already arrived. A coffee table, standard light and large pot planters are still to be purchased in the near future.

Comfort packs for patients admitted to hospital were also discussed. Thank you to Linda for obtaining a very generous donations from Elizabeth King to go into these packs.

Linda also cooked scones that were enjoyed by all after the meeting.

If you would like to join the Auxiliary and help raise funds for our local Health Service patients and staff the next meeting is on the 6th December, 10am at the Day Centre.

Thank you for supporting the auxiliary, and the people of Barraba and wider community who access the Health Service
